The new CTF-840A TFT-Display (succeedor of the MM500 model) is the latest development from CarTFT.com and comes with many nice features. In any case it is the ideal display- and input-unit for your Laptop, CarPC or HTPC. With the touchscreen functionality you easily can control your PC. The briliant VGA-display ensures a maximum readability and sharpness.
The device has among other features integrated Stereo-speakers and an rear camera input.

I find that the 8.4" touch screen is perfect for my carputer its a practical size, I have mine on a release clip due to a new car that I can't alter the dash of but the screen is perfect for this with its release system.

Sehr guter TFT. Gute Bildquallität. Verlegen der Anschlussleitungen sehr einfach durch das Kabelmanagement.
Einziges Manko: Ich habe ganz leichte Störungen im Bild, die vermutlich daher kommen, dass alle Leitungen USB, Strom, VGA durch ein Kabel laufen. Fällt aber nur bei genauem hinsehen auf.

Hallo Liebe Kunden oder solche die es noch werden wollen. Ich habe meinen TFT jetzt schon seit fast einem Jahr und bin mit dem guten Stück voll auf zufrieden. Er verrichtet seine Dienste im täglichen Gebrauch einwandfrei. Ich habe daran eine Hausautomation angeschlossen die in einigen bereichen ach eine sehr hohe "Auflösung" (was die Touch-Funktion angeht) benötigt. Kann Ihn nur weiter empfehlen. Top Preis. Lieferung ging schnell. KAUFEN!

Der Touchscreen wäre eigentlich super, ABER:
Die Treiber für das Touch Interface sind so abgefuckt (anders kann man es nicht nennnen) - daß sie grundsätzlich während der Kalibrierung abstürzen. Und das seit 4 Versionen/Updates !! Dadurch ist die Toucheingabe imer genau so ungenau, daß ich sie nicht verwenden kann. Hersteller und Händler hüllen sich bei Nachfragen in Schweigen. Hatte auch mal Störungen als ich direkt aus einer DV Kamera via Composite in den Motitor ging. Im VGA Betrieb aber echt gut, auch bei 1024x768.
Gutes Bild, viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten, genaue Navigation via Touchscreen, ein sehr gutes Produkt.
